Pamela Dones, Attorney
Pamela M. Dones is an associate attorney in the Waivers and Consular Processing Department at Gonzalez Olivieri LLC. She is bilingual English-Spanish and is proficient in French. Attorney Dones obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. Her interest for transnational issues and the organizations that govern them led her to study and work in Paris, France. Upon graduation Ms. Dones received the Carole A. Chandler Award for her commitment to the School mission while maintaining academic excellence.
Attorney Dones attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Law where her passion for helping immigrant populations started. She worked at the School’s Immigration Legal Aid Clinic where she represented indigent immigrants at USCIS and the San Juan Immigration Court. After becoming a licensed attorney in Puerto Rico, Ms. Dones volunteered at Pro-Bono, Inc, where she helped indigents with civil and administrative law matters.
Attorney Pamela M. Dones engages closely and empathically with her clients to achieve positive results while offering the best service possible. Her experience in United States Immigration Law includes I-601, I-601A, I-212 waivers, consular processing, and asylum applications. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and in the State of Illinois.
